Today was a lot of fun. Mom and I went to Target and Babies R Us to register. I can’t believe it is already that time. I remember when I first got pregnant thinking about how fun it was going to be to have all my friends together again for a baby shower. We had an amazing time at my bridal shower and I am super excited to do it all again, but this time for our lil man. J
Ok so our adventure started off at target. I wanted to register here too, because I know how convenient Target can be instead of Babies R Us, especially for out of town family members. So first off I have to point out how awesome the scanner guns are at Target. They are very easy to use and you can always see what you have signed up for, Babies R Us on the other hand not so cool, but we will get into that later. We pretty much just went down every isle and scanned what we felt the baby would need. It really helped having my mom there, because as a first time mommy I had no idea what our lil guy would need and which things would be the best for him. I was more or less very overwhelmed by the whole thing, so I observed while my mom picked the important stuff out. After target we decided to go to lunch at Red Lobster, we were hoping that Brandi would be working, but no such luck. We still had an amazing lunch, biscuits, caser salads, lobster/artichoke dip, shrimp and french fries, yummy! Let’s just say that there were no leftovers, well unless you count the two biscuits I put in my purse for later. 
Next stop was Babies R Us and if I thought I was overwhelmed before it does not even compare to how I felt now. I have been in there several times, but actually looking at everything other than big items and clothes was insane. So back to the scanner gun they gave us. You would think that a huge baby store would have a really nice scanner since they specialize in registries but definitely not the case. Once you scan something you have no way of knowing if it went through or automatically being able to go back to your list. It was harder to use than the Target one, but I think it all worked out. It is possible that my mom may have had a tad bit more fun than I did. I think the best way to describe her that day was the scanner natzi lol. It was awesome having her there and we had a blast!
The shower is going to be here really soon and I am super excited! Especially since Brandi keeps leaving these little comments about what a blast she is having planning it! What a tease! :0)
